Not all cat litters are made the same and it only takes one bad brand for a owner to realize when they find a good one that the cat will use they should stick with it. Cats can be extremely finicky with where they will go so using the brand of cat litter they prefer is the best. Also for whoever ends up cleaning the litter box certain brands of cat litter are better than others at making clean up easy. A good litter will make clean up easier therefore helping the litter box to stay clean and odor free, which is essential to keep your home from smelling.
