Many cat owners live in lofts or flats that have them several floors up from the ground level. For these pet lovers a balcony is their yard and their cats get to enjoy to sun through the windows. Of course both high windows and balconies can post a risk despite the fact that cats tend to land on their feet. It does not matter that cats are prone to land on their feet if the fall is from a height that is greater than their body can take. Windows are another place where cats are in danger of falling from and getting hurt. Opening the window to let in fresh air for not only your cat but yourself as well is something that you will want to do when it is nice outside.
