The Best Ways To Keep Your Litter Tray Clean

A very large part of keeping the odor from the litter tray from becoming a problem in your home is keeping the box clean. If there is nothing in the box but clean litter than there will not be anything inside that can produce a smell that takes over the room or even worse your whole house.

Of course the problem with this is nobody really wants to clean out the cat litter tray. Even with the best litter it does not really smell good and the job can get really dirty if not done often enough. But frequent cleaning is the key that will keep the odor down and keep the job from becoming so bad you are tempted to throw out the tray and start over with a new one.

Using litter tray bags can help make cleaning the cat box less hands on and much quicker. These bags line the bottom of the litter tray so that all you have to do is place it inside and fill with litter. When the time comes to clean out the tray simply wrap up the bag and take it outside. Then insert a new bag and new litter and the tray is ready again for next time. Of course some cat owners choose to scoop out the waste in-between times they take out the bag. This makes each bag and litter last longer and keeps the tray from beginning to stink between cleanings.

Many find the combination of litter tray bags and scooping out between changes a perfect combination for avoiding a dirty job and keeping the smell to its absolute minimum so that it is not obvious to everyone that walks in that you have a cat. While no body likes to clean the cat litter tray you can make it as easy as possible to do.
